AWARD OF BRONZE STAR MEDAL
TO FAMILY OF PVT MAX MYERS |

Pvt Max Myers, a Medic, was
killed in action on 7 October 1944. Recently his nephew, Ronald Myers,
began gathering documentation in support of the fact that Max was owed
the Bronze Star Medal based on his posthumous award of the Combat Medic
Badge.
Happily, 69 years after his death, that award was made to members
of his family on 1 November 2013 at the Airborne Museum, Fort Bragg, NC.
