SSGT FRANK M. BIGGAM

S/Sgt Frank M Biggam, age 23, a paratrooper and former OSSO pupil was wounded near the Moselle River. He was awarded a Bronze Star for assuming duties of a officer during a attack along the Siegfried Line and was wounded in right arm and shoulder by a mine while on a scouting mission with two other men. He is now in a hospital in England.

Note:  Frank transferred from the 508th to the 541st in August 1943.  He apparently was subsequently transferred to the 505th where he was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star medal and an OLC.
