Veteran's Day 2015

Under Scrutiny
guard seems to be making sure Ken Hamil's camera monopod isn't a rifle

Honor Guard Sentinels
stand at attention as a pair of buglers, at left in red caps, await the moment of sounding Taps.  The second man will play the echoing notes.

At The 508th Spruce Trees
planted not far from the Tomb of The Unknown and fronted by a bronze plaque memorializing the 508th, Ken Hamil addressed the crowd. Behind the plaque is a wreath temporarily shrouded in camouflage material.
Memorial Wreath
bearing the famed Red Devil logo was conspicuous with its red, white and blue floral arrangement
1st Leonard A. Funk
Medal of Honor winner was remembered as well.  The commemorative wreath place at his grave site bore the 82nd Airborne logo.
