A few years back, I had attended a reunion of airborne - that special breed
of man, the elite troops, the spearhead- and again felt that unique bond
that welds airborne men together.
Then, I wondered: What about the greatest regiment of them all?
I began making inquiries after these 30 years -one thing and
another- and I was hopelessly (but enthusiastically) trapped!
With the help of many people and details too numerous
to mention, this reunion is the end result. |
Its designed for your fun and
the chance to renew old friendships; it can be a good beginning for 508
organized activities.
The Order of the Day - Enjoy yourselves. I strongly advise
against push-up contests or double-timing around O'Hare Airport.
Calisthenics should be limited to elbow-bends and warm handshakes.
Relax and enjoy the company around you; I sincerely hope this
reunion is everything you intend it to be. It was a long time coming.
