Paul Hamblin—Past President, 508th PIR Association and Trustee

In 1994, Paul served as President of the 508th PIR Association. Later, Paul chaired the "Hamblin Committee" that developed the concept and procedures which led to Camp Blanding and retirement of the Association today.

Paul served in Company C of the 508th PIR. He joined the 508 during the Battle of the Bulge and later served with the 508 security forces and honor guard formations supporting General Eisenhower's Headquarters.   He also served in both Korea and Vietnam and retired from the Army in 1971.
