Pavilion
The entrance to the cemetery grounds.  Note the Archangel atop the tall pedestal through the center

Archangel
presents a laurel branch in tribute to the heroic dead for whom he makes special commendation to the Almighty

Guardian Angel
The bronze statue of the Archangel was designed by Donal Hord of San Diego, California and was cast in Milan, Italy.

Angel's Shadow
falls across the manicured lawn as the sun sets each day

Roll Of The Missing
There are 450 names of MIA listed on the pavilion's colonnades.

Superintendent David Atkason
greeted the group and provided important details about the Henri Chapelle Cemetery.


Rapt Attention
508er Herman Schoolcraft (green sweater) and others listed closely.  Group members Brenda Brayton (camera on tripod) and Ellen Peters  (using video camera) recorded the event.

101st Vets
were in the group as well.  1st Sgt. Jimmy Smith had quite a pin collection for his hat
