THURSDAY, JUNE 3, 2004 ASSESVILLIERS, FRANCE - LUNCH STOP
L'Arche Cafeteria A not too subtle take off from our Golden Arches?
Armondo Ortiz was just one admirer of this beautifully restored WW-II Jeep that parked next to our bus It was being transported to Ste. Mere Eglise for the D-Day celebrations
Bob Speers also liked what he saw. This turned out to be just one of many restored vehicles that we would see after we arrived in the Ste. Mere Eglise area.
Everything You Need to know to operate the Jeep can be found on these manufacturers plates. Gear shift pattern, high/low ranges for the four-wheel drive and maximum speeds in each gear are all there. (Just don't try to read while you drive, the panels are on the passenger side dashboard!)
