Mighty Mushrooms
looking like a bumper crop, windy conditions made landings tricky with billowing canopies

Significant Shortcut
trooper carries his gear through the La Fiere Manoir barnyard, a battle site 65 years earlier

Not All Ended Well
a few troopers sustained injuries but 6 or 7 out of 1000 made for a very low casualty rate

Medics On Hand
Those injured were quickly transported to a local hospital

Trooper Transport
an injured jumper gets a saline drip while readied for hospital run
