TANK SIMULATION (1 of 1)

Battlefield View
three separate stations with three monitors each enable instructors to teach tactics and to view in real-time what the students are doing as they go head-to-head

Total Flexibility
tanks depicted can be varied, including enemy versions, as well as the terrain and weather

"God's Eye" View
looking down on a topo map, blue images are good guys, red are not

Vehicle View
shows terrain

Close-Up
reveals detail.  Note other vehicles in rear.  They can show a Russian T-90 as easily as an Abrams M1A1 - or anything else in the world's arsenal

Virtual Reality
nearly 100 cubes like these house training stations.  More than 50 U.S. vehicles can be pitted against an equal number of enemy units - simultaneously

Spacious Floor
enables easy movement between stations

Really High-Tech
racks of comm gear, modems and computers all interlinked by fiber-optics make it all work together
Driver's Station
swing into this cube and it puts you right into the drivers seat with all the same controls as the real world
Command and Control
although 20 feet down the aisle, this cube links with the driver to make a full tank in the virtual world.  Three men sit in here for command, control and firing
Fire One!
ore a hundred ... there are no high-price tags attached to virtual rounds
Command Station
with viewports.
It may be virtual reality but it's virtually the same when the trainee hits the real world and "puts on a tank"

Wrong!
a visitor has his feet sticking out --- you're supposed to go in feet first!.  This is why they have training!
