EARNS BRONZE STAR
--- SP4 Gary L. Heilman, son ot Mr. and Mrs. Paul D. Heilman, 1079 E. Main
St., Annville, has received the Bronze Star Medal In Vietnam.
SP4 Heilman received the award for meritorious service In action while engaged In ground operations against a hostile force In Vietnam.
An infantryman in Company A, 1st Battalion, 508th Infantry of the 82nd Airborne Divisions 3rd Brigade, Heilman entered the Army In Jan. 1968, and completed basic training at Fort
Benning, Ga., before arriving in Vietnam last July.
The 21-year-old soldier is a 1966 graduate of Annville-Cleona High School. He was employed by Harold Light, Inc., Palmyra, before entering the Army.
