Dana Johnson

   Army Specialist Five Dana C. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs.. Charles K. Johnson, Route 1, Martin, received the Bronze Star Medal in Vietnam.
  Spec. 5 Johnson received the award for meritorious service in action while engaged m ground operations against a hostile force in Vietnam .
   A communications chief m Company A, 1st Battalion, 508th infantry of tie 82nd Airborne Division's 3rd Brigade, Spec. 5 Johnson entered the Army in October 1967, completed basic training at Ft. Knox, Ky. and was stationed ay Ft. Polk, La. before arriving in Vietnam in September 1968. He holds the Army Commendation Medal.
   The 22-uyear-old specialist graduated from Genoa Area High School in 1965.
   His wife, Sandra, lives at 218 Wilson St., Toledo.
