supply sergeant Co. "A" 508 Prcht. Inf. |
							| f. | T/.5 Kent, after
several attempts, finally broke thorough the enemy
surrounding his company on Teufels Berg, bringing
them badly needed ammunition and food. |
							| g. | After his company
took Teufels Berg, both lines of communications and
supply were cut by the enemy infiltrating their
position.  The company was to hold Teufels Berg
because of its strategic position in [commanding]
the surrounding terrain.  The enemy had
isolated the company and counterattacked six times., |
							| h. | T/5 Kent made several
efforts to reach his company but each time was
driven back.  Realizing the necessity of
getting ammunition and food to them, he organized a
few men into a patrol, and fought his way into his
company with sorely needed supplies, through enemy
rifle and automatic weapons fire.  Two of the
							enemy were killed. |
							| i. | |
							| j. | T/5 Kent's courageous
action resulted in his company being able to drive
off an enemy counterattack soon after getting the
ammunition to his company, the killing of several of
the enemy and the taking of the hill. |
