BRONZE STAR AWARDED
Sgt First Class Calvin S. Reed. right, of Sepulveda, is awarded Bronze Star medal by Maj. James E. Lenon, Jr., commanding officer of Sixth U.S. Advance Marksmanship Training Unit, Ford Ord, for his actions on Aufg11, 1944, against enemy while member of 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, in Europe.
