							| f. | Sgt. Taylor moved in
front of his company lines about six hundred yards
and under cover of fire from a 'Tommy' gun grenaded
an MK-3 tank setting it afire and killing the crew. |

							| g. | Sgt Taylor's company
had been assigned the mission of driving to the
vicinity of Baupte and clearing the surrounding
territory of enemy.  The advance of the company
had been held by at this point by six enemy tanks. |

							| h. | Upon making contact
with the enemy tanks, the company had been able to
knock out five of the six.  The remaining tank
used the others for added armor protection, and was
exposing only part of the turret and cannon barrel
as a target.  Sgt Taylor with another man to
give him covering fire worked his way around to the
rear of the remaining tank and hurled a white
phosphorus grenade into the motor vents setting the
motor afire.  On jumping on the side of the
tank to hurl a grenade inside the tank the tank blew
up hurling Sgt Taylor across the road. |
