PVT JAMES S. LONG

Two Illinois Soldiers
Receive Purple Hearts

   FT. BRAGG, N.C. (AP)- - Two Illinois members of the 82nd Airborne Division, Privates James ·S. Long of Utica and David M. Soneck of Pocahontas, have been awarded purple heart citations for their part in the Dominican Republic revolt. Long and Soneck were among 16 paratroopers decorated at the Womack Army Hospital at Ft. Bragg. All were injured as the Anny moved into Santo Domingo.
