PARENTS GET PURPLE HEART

   The Purple Heart medal awarded to Pfc Robert L Mauck, 20, for wounds received in France has been received by his parents Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Mauck of Lima Route 3.
   Pfc Mauck, a member of the 58th [sic] Parachute Infantry was wounded June 6 while participating in the invasion of the continent. He had been in service for two years entering the Army after graduation from St Gerard high school.
