RECEIVES PURPLE HEART AWARDED HUSBAND — Mi Henry L Allen has received the Purple Heart awarded her husband Pfc Allen for wound received in Germany where he is now serving with the 508th Parachute Infantry with which unit he has been oversea since July 1944.
  While his wife and parents had no knowledge of his having been awarded the Purple Heart until it arrived yesterday, it is thought he must have been wounded during the battle of the Belgium bulge In December. His unit participated in this struggle.
  Pfc Allen is the elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Allen, West First North .Mrs. Allen and their two little daughters Beverly and Lois, reside on South Henry street.
