POSTHUMOUS AWARD
Pfc. Emory G. Gardner

   Mr. and Mrs. Russell Gardner of Bedford, recently received from the President and the War Department a citation and Purple Heart Award for their. son, Private First Class Emory G. Gardner, who was killed in action in France on July 4.
