PVT WILLIAM H. MICHEL

Mrs. Violet Michel received a report that her son, William H. Michel, was wounded although this record does not state when it occurred.

However, company E Morning Reports listed him as WIA on 27 Dec 1944.  The wound was serious and he was evacuated in February 1945 to Fort Benning, GA for further treatment.  He was ultimately discharged on 8 November 1945.
