Sgt Warren F. Albrecht was listed in
the Hq 1st Morning Reports as being slightly wounded in Belgium on 10
January 1945 and then seriously wounded on 30 January 1945.
He was evacuated and spent more than four months in
hospitals before he was deemed fit to travel.
On 3 June 1945 Sgt Albrecht sailed
from Southampton, England aboard the SS George Washington which arrived
in New York City harbor on 11 June 1945. He is listed as a patient
with "Wd, chest, FCC, ribs".
