AWARD OF THE SILVER STAR MEDAL TO
CAPT KEITH R. HARSH
For Gallantry In Action - Nov 3-4, 1952

AWARDED SILVER STAR
   Capt Keith R. Harsh (right), whose wife, Dorothy, lives at 2715 E. Grand River ave, Lansing-, has been awarded the silver star medal for gallantry in action in Korea. He is shown here receiving congratulations from Maj. Gen. Joseph P. Cleland, former commanding general of the 40th Infantry division, at a ceremony in Korea.
   Capt. Harsh, a former Michigan State college student, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Harsh of Jasper, was cited for gallantry in action while a member of the 224th regiment on Nov. 3-4, 1952. In the army 13 years, he holds the bronze star medal, purple heart with oak leaf cluster for wounds received in action, and the combat infantryman infantryman badge.
