CITATION: (Citation Needed) -

SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 2, 1926, takes pleasure in presenting the Soldier's Medal to Private First Class John R. Taylor, United States Army, for heroism not involving actual conflict with an enemy of the United States while serving with Company B, 1st Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82d Airborne Division, in action in the European Theater of Operations during World War II. The exemplary courage and heroism displayed by Private First Class Taylor reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Army.
