Walter Horace Barrett was a member of the 508th Parachute Infantry. These writings are as he personally experienced them during his participation in the invasion of Normandy D-Day, the invasion of Holland, and the Battle of the Bulge. Walter is the recipient of three Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star.
