Grave marker for Jorge J. F. Arcay in the Little Flower section of Flagler Memorial Park, Miami (Miami-Dade county), Florida.

Jorge was a native of Bayamo (Oriente province), Cuba and traveled to the U.S. at least twice (1939 & 1940) as a youth to visit an aunt living in St. Augustine, FL.  He immigrated to the U.S. on 11 April 1945

Jorge enlisted in the Army on 23 February 1951 and volunteered for parachutist duty.  He was assigned to the 508th ARCT.

He rose to the rank of SSgt and was discharged after three years service.
