Grave marker for Colonel (Ret) Reamer Welker Argo in Section 66, Site 6079 of the Arlington National Cemetery,
Arlington, Virginia. A graduate of West Point,
Class of 1945, he was a veteran of WW-II, Korea and Vietnam.
In Korea, while a member of the 11th Airborne, he was
severely wounded on 7 December 1950 and was evacuated to a field
hospital. He did not return to active duty until August 1951.

His father, Col. Reamer W. Argo, Sr. is also buried in
Arlington in Section 7, Site 8277-1. The Argo
family produced fours sons and all became paratroopers. In 2008, a
grandson graduated from Airborne and Ranger School and is an officer in
the 173rd Airborne. |
