Auger. Raymond enlisted in the Army at New Cumberland, PA on
28 July 1943 and was assigned to Company G, 508th PIR.
The application shows that Raymond returned to the
U.S. on 2 August 1945.
He was discharged at Mitchell Field, NY on 8 December 1945. |
Burial record and grave marker for Raymond Auger in Section: 24D, Lot 413 of
the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville (Lebanon county),
Pennsylvania. On 26 April 1944 Pvt Auger was
listed as being admitted to the 30th General Hospital in Mansfield,
England. His ailment was not stated but was classed as being in
the line of duty.
After a series of hospitalizations Pvt Auger was
permanently transferred to the department of patients on 22 May 1944.
Pvt Auger did not return to the regiment.
