CURTIS L. AYDELOTT

Grave marker for Curtis  L. Aydelott in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, Oak Grove (Bowie county), Texas.

Curtis enlisted in the Army at Ft Sill, OK on 11 February 1942.

On 6 August 1943, T4 Aydelott transferred to Hq 2mnd, 5087th PIR from the Parachute School, Ft Benning. GA.

However on 2 September 1954 he was transferred from the 508th, destination unknown.  Wherever he went, he performed through WWII and was ultimately discharged with the grade of SSgt on 5 October 1`945.
