Stuart enlisted in the
Army at Camp Grant, IL on 13 December 1941.
After completion of jump
school Pvt Bader was sent overseas. Pfc Bader was transferred from
the 11th Replacement Deposit to Company E, 508th PIR.
On 26 December 1944 Pfc was evacuated to a field
hospital, possibly the victim of frostbite. On 9 March 1945 he rejoined
the company.
Pfc Bader's military decorations include the Bronze
Service Arrowhead device for the Holland campaign and Airborne
operations. |
