Grave marker for Wayne R. Baughn in Space 3,4 of 4-m, Floral Hill in the Restland Memorial Park, Dallas (Dallas County, Texas.

Mr. Baugh was a member of F Company as well as Service Company and participated in the jump into Normandy.

His lasting pride in his service is evidenced by the parachutist wings embossed on his marker.  Also significant are the numerals "86" (see close-up) as Wayne was the 86th recipient of a heart transplant performed at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, TX.

In gratitude, his wife Margaret performed as a volunteer for "New Hearts & Lungs" which serves the Baylor Heart & Lung Transplant program.  She preceded Wayne in death in 1997.
