WAYNE H. BEANBLOSSOM
Wayne Harrison Beanblossom, 79, New Albany, died Sunday, Oct 6, at his home.

A native of Mauckport, born Dec. 11,1922, he was the son of the late Edward and Julia Beanblossom.

He retired from Hannah Oldsmobile in Louisville, where he was an auto body repairman. He served as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division in World War II, and was a member of VFW Hobart Post 1693 in New Albany and Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors Include his wife, the former Beulah Cotner; a daughter, Rita Marking of New Albany; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 10, after 10 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Funeral: Thursday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m. at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with burial In the church cemetery.

Officiants: The Revs. Gilbert Duley and Lanny Amy. Military rites: Performed at the gravesite. Pallbearers: Travis Marking, Scott Bostock, Gary McGiboney, Gary Cherry, Scott Amy, and Terry and Griff Beanblossom.
