BEATTIE REGIS T. "PAP"
Age 72, of Penn Hills, formerly of Pittsburgh, after a
courageous battle with cancer, quietly went to Our Lord on October 3,
2009 while at home with his family.
Son of the late Regis C. Beattie and Rita McGinley.
Beloved husband of Barbara Anne (Carlino). Adored father of Regis
(Heather) Beattie, Doreen (James) McSweeny, Michael Geilfuss, Mary Ann
Migitsch, Diane Geilfuss-Tomb, Edward (Yvonne) Geilfuss. Much loved Pap
Pap to Quinlan Beattie, Danielle (Jeremy) Dindinger, Darlene and DeAnna
McSweeny, Douglas, Brittany, Jacob, Tyler and Audrey Migitsch, Brandi
and Charles Tomb, Alicia Geilfuss and Carter Dindinger. Brother of
James, Betty Ann and (Nick) Synan, John (Paula) Coll, Kenny Kulikowski.
Rege joined the US Army and was a paratrooper of the
101th division traveling the world. Afterwards Rege received his
Bachelors of Arts at California University. He then went on to become a
police officer for the City of Pittsburgh spanning 32 years of service.
After retirement Rege continued to be a delegate of the Fraternal Order
of Police Lodge 1. Active member of the Emerald Society, Verona Eagles,
American Legion and various golf leagues.

LTD, 11735 Frankstown Rd (at Rodi Rd) Penn Hills on Monday and Tuesday
2-4 & 7-9. Funeral prayers Wednesday 9:30am. Mass of Christian Burial in
St. Bartholomew Church 10am. Entombment Calvary Cemetery.
