ALVIN D. BEBOUT

   EVANSVILLE Alvin Bebout, 81, of Evansville died at 7 am. Monday, Oct 8,2007,at his home.
   Alvin was born May 13, 1926, to Alvin and Lillie (Farmer) Bebout in Crittenden.
   He served as a paratrooper in the Army in World War IL
   Alvin retired in 1988 as a production metal finisher from Whirlpool Corp. after 40 years. He was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church for 50 years, where he served as a bus driver and Sunday school teacher for many years.
   Alvin was preceded in death by his wife, Anna "Brownie" Bebout in 2004; two brothers, Ford Bebout and Givens Bebout; and three sisters, Opal Cooper, Viva Singleton and Evelyn Wilson.
   Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Bebout, Kimberly Miller and her husband, Bobby, all of Evansville; a son, Michael Bebout, and wife, Kathy, of Evansville; a sister, Helen Woodyard of Southland; five grandchildren, Rachel, Cherie, Amy, Eliza and Aaron; two step-grandchildren, Bradley and Aaron; a great-granddaughter, Abigail; and a very special friend, Willetta Harper of Owensboro.
   Funeral services will be held at 11 am. Thursday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, 5330 Washington Ave., with Brother Garry Lanham officiating.
   Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Park with the Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Club conducting full military rites at the gravesite.
   Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and after 11 am Thursday at the funeral home.
   Memorial Contributions may be made to Washington Avenue Baptist Church, 1518 Washington Ave., Evansville, IN 47714.
