EVERETT W. BELL
Everett W. Bell died on 12 October 1978 in Charlotte, NC.  His final resting place is  unknown.

Draft registration card for Everett W. Bell.  When he was inducted on 19 May 1942 he volunteered for parachutist duty and was assigned to the 507th PIR.

Pvt Bell was a member of the cadre team transferred from the 507th and was assigned to Company A, 508th.  Pfc Bell was reported MIA on 11 June 1944 in Normandy, France and, in fact, had been taken prisoner,

He was liberated from Stalag 2B Hammerstein on 25 June 1945.

Despite the rigors of the POW experience he re-enlisted in the Army but chose not to make it a career and was discharged on 16 September 1954.
