Pvt Bell was appointed to the grade of T/5 on 7 April 1944 but little else is recorded of his service after that.

Based on the items included in the grouping above he participated in two campaigns and was wounded once.  His photo indicates that he was a member of the Honor Guard in Frankfurt, Germany.
