JACK A. BIBBEE

JACK A. BIBBEE Passed away on August 11, 2003 al age 77.
   He was a W.W.II veteran, 82nd Airborne, and a retired municipal employee ol the City of Lake Worth.
   He is survived by wile, Lucy Bibbee; sons: Melvin, Chris and Gary Bibbee; sisters: Betty and Wanda; brothers: Norm and Bobby; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Denise R. Bibbee.

Pvt Bibbee was transferred from the 3rd Replacement Depot to Hq Hq, 508th PIR on 16 February 1945.

On 11 March 1945 he was sent to the 242nd General Hospital, Camp Sissonne, France classed as a Non Battle Casualty.

He returned to the Company on 10 April 1945.

On 20 August 1945, Pfc Bibbe arrived in New York, NY aboard the USAT Madawaska Victory.

on on 31 October 1945, he re-enlisted at Fort Bragg, NC for another year.

He was discharged on 2 December 1946.

His military decorations include the Combat Infantryman Badge for action during the Rhineland Campaign, effective 18 February 1945.
