Richard enlisted in the Army at Detroit, MI on 3 March 1941 and
volunteered for parachutist duty.
Pvt Bogovich was transferred to the Service Company,
508th PIR from the 82nd Replacement Depot in Leicester, England on 12
September 1944. He was subsequently assigned to C Company on 8
December 1944. He was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge for his
participation in action during the Ardennes campaign, 18 Dec 1944 to 20
Feb 1945 |
