GLENN E. BOHLANDER

Glenn "Boh" Bohlander

BOHLANDER, Glenn E. "Boh," 81, of Brandon, entered into rest May 2, 2007. Originally from Jolliet, Ill., he moved to this area in 1972 from Fayetteville, N.C. He was Episcopal by faith, and an avid golfer and member of Buckhorn Springs Golf and Country Club. He was a retired master sergeant with 28 years in the U.S. Army, serving in World War II, three tours in Korea and four tours in Vietnam. Boh taught ROTC at Wake Forest University and Mulberry High School. He will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lori of Brandon; sons, Mike Bohlander of Carthage, N.C., Ricky Bohlander of Fayetteville, N.C., Joel Wells of Brandon and David Wells of Plant City, Fla.; daughter, Deborah Mintz, and her husband, Weldon, of Commerce, Ga.; grandchildren, William and Carl Mintz, Amanda and Carrie Bohlander, Robbie and Christie Bohlander; and great-grandson, Neil Dye IV.

Funeral services will take place at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at Stowers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Glenn served during World War II and also in multiple tours in both Korea and Vietnam.  He retired as a Master Sergeant.
