Richard enlisted in the
Army at Los Angeles, CA on 2 October 1943.
Pvt Bollinger was
transferred from the 11th Replacement Depot to Hq 2nd, 508th PIR on 10
August 1944. He was then transferred to Company E on the 29th of
August.
On 22 October 1944, Pvt
Bollinger was promoted to Tec.5. He was discharged on 16 January
1946.
His military decorations
include the Bronze Service Arrowhead device for the Holland campaign and
Airborne operations. |
