EDWARD W. BOUTCHER

Edward W. Boutcher
   CENTREVILLE — Edward W. Boutcher of Centreville died at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010. He was 76.
   Mr. Boutcher lives on in the memory of his loving family. He and his wife Mary Lou Boutcher of Centreville had been married for 56 years, raising a family of eight children, 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Those children and their families miss him deeply: Kathleen Jackson of Annapolis; Michael Boutcher and his wife Suzanne of Burlington, Wis.; Joseph Boutcher and his wife Michelle of Centreville; David Boutcher and his wife Atsuko of Manassas, Va.; Barbara Rose and her husband Robert of Lowell, Ind.; Patricia Henry and her husband Bill of Papillion, Neb.; Tom Boutcher (deceased in 1996) and his wife Tamara Hunt of Columbiaville, Mich.; and James Boutcher and his wife Danielle of Omaha, Neb.
   Born Jan. 18, 1934, in Blue Island, Ill., Ed was the son of the late Joseph I and Rose L. Berger Boutcher. His only surviving sibling, Norbert Boutcher, currently lives in Michigan with his wife Eleanor.
   A Memorial Mass was held at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, Centreville. Burial was at Maryland Veteran Cemetery, near Hurlock. Mr. Boutcher was buried with honors for his service service to the U.S. Army from 1951-1954.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Queen Anne’s Inc., 255 Comet Drive, Centreville, MD 21617. Arrangements are by the Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., Centreville, MD.
