JOHN T. BRAMMER

Grave marker for John T. Brammer in Block 5; Lot 110; Plot K of the Calvary Cemetery, Madera (Madera county), California.

John enlisted in the Army at Fresno, CA on 7 January 1943.  He was transferred from The Parachute School to Company D, 508th PIR on 2 October 1943.

Pvt Brammer sewed on his PFC stripe after being appointed to that grade on 1 April 1945.

Pfc Brammer's military decorations include the Combat Infantryman Badge and the Bronze Service Arrowhead device, both awarded for action during the assault in Normandy, France Campaign, 6 June 1944 to 9 July 1944.
