BRENNAN, THOMAS S., 80, of Palm Harbor, died Friday (Aug. 19, 2005) at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor. He was born in the Bronx, N.Y., and came here in 1988 from Hartsdale, N.Y., where he retired from the Farberware Co.

He retired after 23 years in the Army as a Green Beret with the rank of sergeant major at the Special Warfare Center in Fort Bragg, N.C. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and was awarded a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star while serving with the 82nd Airborne.

He was Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; three daughters, Susan Marie Clark, Midlothian, Va., Donna J. Turnbull, Hartsdale, and Elizabeth A. Sclafani, Mount Vision, N.Y.; a stepdaughter, Anita E. Biernacki-Brennan, Knoxville, Tenn.; a sister, Loretta Koops, Bainbridge, Ga.; and nine grandchildren.
