Cemetery, Wolverine (Cheboygan county), Michigan.
Patrick enlisted in the Army at Detroit, MI on 9 October
1942.
Om 23 October 1942, Pvt Bresnahan was transferred from
the Reception Center, Fort Custer, MI to Company B, 508th PIR.
Om 6 June 1944 Pvt Bresnahan was reported as Missing
In Action but was no longer reported by the company's Morning Reports.
The National Archives, however, reported that Pvt
Bresnahan was captured on 6 June and was held in Stalag 4B for just over
a year before he was liberated..
He was promoted to Pfc based on time served and was
discharged on 31 October 1946. |
