| Grave marker for Marion E. Brewer Section 11, Site 480
of Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio (Bexar county),
Texas. Marion enlisted in the Army at Dallas,
TX; ca. 1941/42 and was amongst the first that volunteered for
parachutist duty.
On 16 October 1942 Cpl Brewer was transferred from the
507th PIR as part of the cadre team for the 508th PIR then being
activated at Camp Blanding, FL
His military decorations include the Purple Heart. |
