Grave marker for Robert Brinkman in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Lemay (St. Louis county), Missouri.

Robert enlisted in the Army at Jefferson Barracks, MO on 10 March 1943.

Pvt Brinkman was transferred to Hq 3rd, 508 PIR on 21 November 1944.

Pfc Brinkman's military decorations include the Combat Infantryman badge for action during the campaign, 18 Dec 1944 to 20 Feb 1945.

His name appeared on an unofficial roster of names and home addresses for men in Hq 3 at APO 757 [Frankfurt], as of 9/23/1945.

He was discharged on 15 January 1946.
