Grave markers for Howard W. Brooks in the Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge (Montgomery county), Pennsylvania.

Howard enlisted in the army at enlisted at Philadelphia, PA on 11 June 1942.  He was declared as a qualified parachutist at Ft Benning on 12 March 1943.

Cpl Brooks was awarded the Bronze Service Arrowhead for his participation in Normandy assault.
