MARLIN G. BRUNER

 

Marlin registered for the draft in Beaver Falls, PA on 1 July 1941.and was inducted into the Army  enlisted at New Cumberland, PA on 27 January 1942.

He departed the ZI for the ETO on 5 December 1943.

On 20 October 1945, Pvt Bruner was included in the photo of  Hq 1st Personnel recently joining 508th  with in the 3rd anniversary book.

He was discharged on 23 January 1946.

 

Marlin submitted this application for the Pennsylvania WWII Veterans Bonus. He was credited with 22 months of domestic duty and 26 months of foreign service.  He was awarded the full $500 bonus amount available.

Marlin passed away on 10 April 1978.  His final resting place is unknown at this time.
