STANLEY BURNSTEIN

Stanley Burnstein

Age 75, of Hockessin, died on
Sunday April 16, 2000 at home. Mr.
Burnstein retired as a truck driver
from Mason-Dixon Lines
Truck Co. He was a WWII
Army veteran and served in
the 82nd Airborne Division
as a paratrooper. He was awarded the
Purple Heart and was a member of the New Castle Moose Lodge. Mr. Burnstein is survived, by his wife of 27 years, Mary; his children, Eric of Cherry Hill, NJ and Richard of Alabama; stepchildren, Jerry Roman of Wilmington, Mary C. Stucky of Newark, Martha Andrade of Mexico, Spencer N. Malcom, Jr. of CA and William James Malcom of NC; 15 grandchildren and many friends. Services will be Wednesday, April 19 at 11 a.m. in the MCCRERY~ MEMORIAL CHAPEL Kirkwood

Grave marker for Stanly Burnstein at Section XIX Row A Site 11 in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear (New Castle), Delaware.

Stanley was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge for his participation in the Ardennes Campaign.
