 James registered for the draft in Watervliet (Albany), NY on 1 July 1941.

T/5 Busone's date of arrival in Hq 3rd, 508th PIR is not known but he appeared in the 508th's 3rd Anniversary book group, published 20 October 1945,  photo of recently arrived for Hq 3rd.
