Louis registered for the draft ca. 1941 and
clearly stated he was Italian-born although there was no space to
indicate whether he was a U.S. citizen.
On 10 October 1945, Pfc Cascone was transferred
from the 505th PIR to Hq 2nd, 508th PIR.
