Parachute Infantry Regiment is Pfc Frank Ceccarelli of 7th street,
Wyoming, who is a life-long friend of T/4 Endrusiak.
Pfc Ceccarelli also attended the Wyoming High school with T/4
Endrusiak and the two came overseas together.

Pennsylvania WWII Veterans Bonus application filed
by Francis T. Ceccarelli on 16 January 1950.
He was denied a
bonus as he had fewer than 60 days active service during the
eligibility period, which ran between December 7, 1942 September 2,
1945. He had served only 2 months and 6 days during that
timeframe.
Francis enlisted in the Army at the Indiantown Gap
Military reservation, PA on 9 June 1945 and was sent overseas on 16
January 1946..He was discharged at Fort Knox, KY on 21 May 1947.
Francis died on January 9, 2008 and is buried in Mount Olivet
Cemetery, Carverton (Luzerne). PA |
